Rooibos is crafted from the leaves of the Red Bush (Aspalathus linearis), a plant native to South Africa. While commonly called a “tea,” Rooibos is technically a herb, as it does not come from the Camellia sinensis plant used to produce black, green, or white tea.
Traditionally enjoyed by the indigenous people of South Africa, Rooibos has grown into a beloved global beverage thanks to its smooth taste and naturally caffeine-free profile.
